St George’s is pleased to offer wraparound childcare provision from September 2017.
The scheme is being run by St George's Pre-school in conjunction with St George’s School and will utilise facilities on both premises. The service will be offered to children from the age of 3-11 across both settings. If you have a two year-old, and you think this service may benefit you, please call us to discuss your need and we will see if we can accommodate it.
· The Early Birds Breakfast Club will be hosted in the Pre-school room and will operate from 8am. There will be a standard charge to drop your child early at school with us and they are welcome to breakfast at a small extra cost. We will offer the option of toast or cereal and orange juice.
· The Afternoon Club will be hosted in the Early Years Foundation Stage room. This will offer space for older children to work on home work, younger ones to fancy dress, books to read for all, games, outside space and facilities to do arts and crafts. There will be some planned activities each week but the children will also have the choice to choose their own activity should they wish. We will offer the option of two pick up times for your child, these will be at either 4.30pm or 6pm.
To enable us to suitably staff this service, we would ask that parents commit to sessions on a half-termly basis. Then, if possible, we will offer ad-hoc individual sessions, but would ask that we are given a week’s notice to see if we are able to accommodate your child (while we will endeavour to help, this will depend on availability and we cannot guarantee space). This applies to both Early Birds Breakfast and After School club.

Requests can be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will contact you within two weeks to confirm availability at which point payment can be made within 10 days by bank transfer or cheque. Please also ensure you fill in all of your contact details as requested.
We hope this will help parents and if the scheme is a success we may look to develop it further in terms of the hours and the facilities offered.
